Childlike Faith

Today I received and email from a friend that blessed me and inspired this writing. Below is an excerpt from the email.

Those of us who are parents probably can testify to this: When your child(ren) were babies, they had not one single worry. It was innately in them to trust you as mommy or daddy to feed, cloth and protect them. Stress was nonexistent to them because mommy and daddy would handle it.

My question to you, How come it's so difficult to put that same childlike trust in our Heavenly Daddy?

In Matthew 6:25-34 paraphrased, Jesus says, therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? If I clothe the lilies of the field, shall I also clothe you?

Our Father knows what we need before we ask Him. (Matthew 6:8) Therefore do not worry. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to be. Whatever you are worrying about, don't. Today, tell yourself, " I am not going to worry because my Heavenly Father is going to take care of me." Use your childlike faith and believe that your Daddy will take care of you and is already working it out for you.

The Great I AM

Lately I have been in a somber mood, allowing life's issues to weigh heavily upon me. But on yesterday, God sent one of His precious angels from Twitterverse to remind and encourage me of what the scripture says from the book of Exodus.

Exodus 3:14 tells us, "And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM". And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me.

God is so awesome, words cannot fathom of His greatness. He sent that precious angel to reach down and encourage me from the pit of my despair. She reminded me that He is the I AM.

Exodus 6:6-7 says, " I AM THE LORD; I will bring you from the burdens of the Egyptians, (life issues). I will you rescue from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm.

I don't have to worry and neither do you about the Pharaoh's of this life, God is able. He is the great I AM and He is able to take care of anything that we encounter. Whatever you need, He is it, If it doesn't exist, He can create it. God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ever conceive. HE IS THE GREAT I AM!

Father God, I thank you for Your Word. I thank you for the angels you sent and placed in my life. I thank you that Your Word is fresh and new everyday and that it brings life to those who read and meditate on it. Father, no matter what it looks like, I stand on your promises and know that you are able to turn it around for my good. Thank you Daddy. In Jesus Name Amen.

Praise Your Way Through

Hebrews 13:15

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The Bible tells us that we must acknowledge and praise God regardless of what we may be going through. Have you been going through some troubled times? Have you prayed and prayed, but still nothing has seemed to change?

Well this is the perfect time to render a sacrifice of praise to God. Yes, while in the midst of your problems begin to praise God for who He is in your life and for what He has already done.

Do you know that there is power in your praise? There is deliverance in your praise, there is healing in your praise, there is peace, love, joy and God is glorified in your praise.

Take your mind off your problems and begin to praise God, then watch how things begin to change for you.

Let everything that have breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
